Dr. Arunabha Mallik is currently serving as the Professor and Principal of Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Pharmacy (MLRIP), Hyderabad. With nearly 18 years of extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration, he has contributed significantly to the field of pharmaceutical sciences across various states in India. His dedication to pharmacy education has been instrumental in shaping academic standards and research culture at multiple institutions.
Dr. Mallik completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degrees from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru, specializing in Pharmaceutics. He earned his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), further strengthening his academic and research credentials.
A committed academician and researcher, Dr. Mallik has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the “Award of Excellence” and the “Best Presenter Award” at an international conference held in Malaysia, recognizing his impactful contributions to pharmaceutical research and presentation skills on global platforms.
He has organized and conducted numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, playing a pivotal role in knowledge dissemination and academic networking. He has also served as a resource person for various Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), seminars, and training workshops, mentoring students and faculty alike on topics ranging from novel drug delivery systems to research methodologies.
Dr. Mallik has an impressive research portfolio with over 35 research publications in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. His areas of research interest include pharmacology, nanotechnology-based drug delivery, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory studies, as well as drug discovery. He is also the author of a textbook titled “Animal Handling Techniques and Protocol Development Strategy”, which serves as a practical guide for researchers working in preclinical pharmacological studies.
In addition to his academic engagements, he is a member of the editorial board for several national and international journals and regularly reviews manuscripts, contributing to the scientific community. Dr. Mallik is also an active member of several professional bodies, including A.P.T.I. (Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India), through which he engages in various professional development and policy-making initiatives.
